She does say, "bye-bye", and "grandpa". I heard it just a few minutes ago.

How Have I Missed Them?

Haven't met up with the kids for a few days but they as amazing as ever. Camron was watching a discovery channel movie with his grandmother the other night about the life of some aboriginal in a jungle. In one part of the program the man hadn't been able to find any food and was very hungry. My sister said that Camron looked at her and said, "Grandma, why doesn't he just ask the guy with the camera for some food?" I watched him in the tree for a while before he saw me. He carries on a constant monologue and from a distance I can't make out the words, but it sounds like many people talking. And he never forgets what he has named anything. He named the willow trees a couple of years ago (I was at the ceremony) and he still calls them Old Willow and Old Koala Willow.

Cashlin watches for me to go to the pond now. She also will greet me and bring toys to me when I go to visit my sister. She is one year and 22 days old today, is walking everywhere, and has a pretty fair vocabulary (grandpa, dog, meow-meow, mama, daddy, uh-oh). She is cute.

She wouldn't Get out of the Wagon

By the end Cashmere was pulling two wagons around the pond perimeter. Cashlin sings and laughs the whole way.

Free at Last!

This is her first time out in her wheels in a couple of weeks. It is so neat to watch her entertain herself while her mom pulls her around.
